This part of Imago’s song Sundo is just so romantic. I don’t know why I can’t get over it.
For those who follow me here who cannot understand Filipino, i’ll try to translate it. Warning: My translation will suck. And will not come close to what the lyrics are really trying to express.
Hang your sorrows on me
What i’ll give you won’t be insufficient
See I told you it would suck :| It doesn’t seem romantic at all! But it is. It’s saying, “Leave your sorrows with me, and i’ll try my best to give you enough. I promise to be enough.” Something like that.
Whatever. I still like it. :>

I just found out that the correct lyrics are:
Sa akin mo isabit ang pangarap mo
‘Di kukulangin ang ibibigay
Which, translated literally, means:
Hang your dreams on me
What i’ll give you won’t be insufficient
It’s still romantic, but. I like what I initially thought were the right lyrics better. Allowing someone to hang their sorrows on you seem more selfless and romantic than having them hang their dreams and hopes on you.
Hehehe whatevs.
